My dad is in the hospital, in the ICU. He's gonna be there for a while. A long while. He was really sick on Friday, like, he almost died. Still is kinda hovering there, actually. Which made me miss my anti-prom, but then all of my friends came over for a surprise party! It made me so happy. Anyways, we've been visiting the old fart in the hospital and he looks like shit, but he's prolly going to be okay -- he has abscesses in his liver from constantly traveling to obscure countries. Doc says it's a very unusual and painful bacterial infection, and he's lucky they found it now because there's a higher chance of him living and all. It's gross, they're draining pus from a hole in his side. He had two failed Lumbar punctures (stick a thick needle in your spine to draw fluid), and he's so drugged he can barely speak. He sounds drunk, lol. I suspect he drank the water in Dubai. Anywho, so now that we know what's wrong I'm less stressed and can get back to work on presents and commissions. Hurrah!

Also I'm REALLY obsessed with Xenosaga. <3

I've known Ant here on DA for a long time, and he's been a really supportive friend and excellently literate plot-maker and RP-gamer. Art-wise, he prefers using bold lines and a dynamic, diamond-honed sharp cel-shading style that makes me drool every time I open his page. Well, maybe not drool. He has been writing and illustrating a Sonic fancomic called Lifeblood [link] for as long as I've known him. (I've finally gotten around to reading the comic, and it's really good! Sonic lovers will enjoy the story a lot, and anyone can appreciate the art.) My favorites:}

Erk...worst thing that happened to my dad was a kidney stone and severe internal bleeding... O_o'
But seriously, it's so hard to convey emotion through type. I do hope your Dad does well and gets healthy again.

Really sorry to hear that. My dad's recently turned into a health nut, and he drives me crazy trying to get me to eat organic foods and tofu meat and stuff, but I guess I should be more thankful. I hope your dad recovers.
