Devian Pinup Estimated Time Taken: 1 hour, 15 minutes Medium: Pencils, micron inking pens, Photoshop CS Inspiration/Fandom?: For *WindyDragon here on deviantART, of her original character. Date: July 22, 2008 Comments: A long-overdue present/thing for my friend here on dA! She's also an artist, check out her work. This is her original character, Devian, lookin' sexy in his green-haired glory. Mmmm, yummy. I don't submit a lot of male art to my gallery... er... any male art, really, so I'm shy of putting this up. LOL.

Utilized denim texture: [link] and a texture by Calajane, which I swear to god I love way too much: . Thanks!

Yay, you uploaded some man-art! And WHOO HOO, it's DEVVY lookin' dead sexy!
First, let's talk about angles. Is the viewer looking at him head-on, or are they standing at an angle? Is he the one angling himself, while we're looking straight ahead?
Secondly, I agree with VJ about the S curve; it looks unnatural. Men are usually very straight/angular in this part of the body where us woman naturally curve.
Now let's address his pecs. Again, it seems like there is too much "roundness" on that part of him, where it should be clean cut lines. Also, while nipple placement is not exactly "wrong", (I have seen pictures of men with nipples in the same position), it seems a little odd. Nipples typically are somewhat more centered.
Anyway, there's no need to be shy! Con crit from me is always done out of love, in hopes that you continue pursuing your passion by improving yourself! (Plus, I'll totally beat up any antis for you.)

Despite the past mistakes, I'm still going to lay my heart out to the wind to see were it takes me
